Margaux treats us to her homemade marmalade made with pumpkin, oranges, and lemons. Her secret? Enjoying it warm on toasted bread with a bit of salted butter, all dipped in a steaming hot chocolate… It doesn’t get more comforting than this before a good witch hunt. 🍞
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg pumpkin
- 500 g sugar
- 2 oranges
- 2 lemons
Steps:
- Peel and cut the pumpkin into pieces.
- Place the pieces in a saucepan and cover with sugar.
- Add the oranges, thinly sliced, and the juice of the lemons.
- Cover with a cloth and let rest overnight.
- Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes.
TAJINEBANANE COMMUNITY'S "SABLOWEEN" COOKIES
A pun that says it all about the joy of getting your hands in the dough! These colorful cookies have become a true family ritual: cut, decorate, laugh, and then sprinkle a little icing sugar everywhere before biting into these little multicolored monsters! Special shoutout to the homemade icing and the orange, purple, black, and green food coloring—a perfect combo for a spellbinding table! 🕸️
Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 75 g sugar
- 125 g butter
- 1 egg
- Icing sugar
- Food coloring
Steps:
- Mix the flour, sugar, butter, and egg, then knead with your fingers.
- Roll out the dough and cut out your cookies using Halloween-shaped cookie cutters.
- Bake for 12 minutes at 200°C.
- Prepare the icing: in a bowl, mix icing sugar with a little water until the mixture is neither too runny nor too thick.
- Divide the icing into several bowls and add the food coloring.
- Decorate the cookies and let them dry for a few hours at room temperature or in the fridge.
SARAHs SPINNEN-BROWNIES 🕷️
For chocolate lovers, Sara offers an ultra-indulgent version of brownies… spider-web style! The recipe is simple: a rich dark chocolate and walnut base topped with a design in white chocolate, drawn with a spoon. And like magic, you get a dessert that’s as spooky as it is delicious—perfect for ending the evening. 🕷️
Ingredients:
- 150 g dark baking chocolate
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 80 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 10 walnuts
- A little white chocolate for decoration
Steps:
- Beat the eggs and gradually add the sugar.
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie and mix into the egg-sugar mixture.
- Add the flour and chopped walnuts.
- Pour into a baking pan and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.

How to do it:
- Fold an A4 sheet like an accordion.
- Draw a pumpkin shape on one side with a pencil.
- Cut out the shape through the folds.

- Use crepe paper or colored pencils for even more options.

Abracadamousse! Alicia turned her son’s Halloween into a real lesson in witchcraft! With a bit of white vinegar, baking soda, and a few drops of food coloring, little apprentice witches and wizards can discover their new powers in a fun and surprising atmosphere! A simple, playful, and impressive activity to try—always more magical with a bit of setup. 🧪
How to do it:
- Check with the kids that all powers are ready by tossing “unicorn powder” (baking soda) into the “bat slime” (white vinegar) and watch the foam appear.
- Prepare spoons in advance with a drop of blue or red food coloring, covered with flour or icing sugar.
