This month, Tajinebanane is supporting Ruban Rose charity, which raises awareness about breast cancer and funds research. As part of this initiative, we’ve created two charity products: our “We Are Boobtiful” T-shirts, available on our website with and without breastfeeding openings. Because through your experiences, we’ve seen, read and learnt that our clothes – originally designed for breastfeeding, anytime and anywhere – can also provide valuable support during illness. The openings can make examinations and treatments easier without having to fully undress. In these moments too, our clothes can become practical companions. Because we love our breasts – and yours. And because celebrating them also means looking after them, we created these two T-shirts: for those directly affected and for anyone who simply wants to show their support in the fight against breast cancer. Because cancer doesn’t only affect the person who becomes ill – it affects the people around them too. Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink October) is, above all, an opportunity to remind ourselves of something essential: let’s look after our breast health. Women, men and everyone with breast tissue: take a moment, stand in front of a mirror and have a good look. Get to know what’s normal for you, check your breasts regularly and speak to a healthcare professional if you notice any changes, lumps, unusual discharge or anything you’re unsure about.

You’ll find a small leaflet in your order to guide you and help you learn what to look out for. And because breast cancer doesn’t end with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Tajinebanane stands alongside those affected by the disease and their loved ones all year round.
